
FASD Connect offers:
Children's Group
This group is an opportunity for children to have a safe space to learn and grow. Parents and Children learn about strategies from the Alert program to get into a "Just Right" state. Children will explore their world through various activities including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) activities, gardening, outdoor activities and more alongside their caregiver.
Teen group
This group is an opportunity for teens to have a safe space to hang out and develop skills. In this group, the youth are taught strategies from the Alert program to get into a "Just Right" state, exploring the world with various activities and developing self-care tools.
COMPASS Caregiver Workshop
A supportive multi-session workshop where we discuss dealing with guilt, grief, managing stress, improving communication, navigating the system, and planning for the journey ahead in terms of caregiving.
Cost is $50 for the workshop. Sliding scale available. Let us know if you require support.
Caregivers Coffee Time
This is a time for caregivers, who are providing care to those with suspected or confirmed FASD diagnosis, to get together and support one another.
